March 13th 7.30pm
St. George’s Catholic Church, Worcester
A concert, organised by Sainsbury’s staff and customers in aid of
St. Richards Hospice. Our invitation came via Cllr Andy Roberts, The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Worcester. St. Richards, is one of Cllr Roberts supported charities this year.
Performing for our delight and entertainment were the
Hereford Police Male Voice Choir
Taking their seats, the packed audience, included dignitaries from around the county and celebrity Antique Roadshow presenter Henry Sandon, who you can see centre right.
Father Brian McGinley, welcomes everyone to his church and the concert
The celebrated choir, recently seen on ‘Last Choir Standing’ on the BBC TV, pay close attention to Musical Director Alison Houlbrooke
Baritone soloist Dave Coulson
and Soprano Rebecca Meredith were superb.
Excellent coffee and cakes were provided during the interval and I am sure a substantial amount was raised for St Richards Hospice from a smashing evening.
